LABPAQ DETAILS - AP-2 & AP-2C - Second
Semester A&P
|
The AP-2 and
AP-2C are both designed to accompany a second semester
Anatomy & Physiology course. The AP-2 LabPaq
contains all of the items listed below. For for the
sake of economy, the AP-2C is a continuation from the AP-1
and assumes that the student has the prepared
slides, dissection tools and a few other items from the first
semester AP-1 LabPaq. If not, the student should purchase a
standard AP-2 LabPaq, not the AP-2C. Both LabPaqs' exercises follow standard
college texts for a second semester A&P
course.

About
the Author: Professor Laszlo Vass
Hi
everyone! My name is Laszlo Vass and I am the author of
the Anatomy and Physiology lab manuals for At Home
Science Inc.
I am 36 years old and I am Hungarian by birth yet immigrated
to the
U.S.
when I was seven years old and now live in
Superior
Colorado
which is a suburb of
Denver
. Currently,
I teach Biology and Anatomy and Physiology to a great
bunch of high school kids at
Monarch
High School
. I
also teach General Biology online for the
Community College
of
Denver
and in the past, I have taught both semesters of
college-level Anatomy and Physiology. In
addition, For my school district, I have developed
online materials and serve on the Colorado State Science
Commission, which is an advisory board to the
legislature, for K-12 science curriculum.

My educational
background is unusual for a science professor.
I went to
New York
University
right out of high school and majored in theater and
really enjoyed it and was starting to get my face
noticed. However,
during the late 80’s, the drug culture was unreal and
I saw myself going in the wrong direction----fast.
Because of this, I left
New York
and came back to
Colorado
to finish a political science degree and a science
minor. After graduation, I returned to college as
a biology major and earned a teaching license.
Next, I completed a MS from
Colorado
State
University
in 2002 and a MA in Education from the
University
of
Phoenix
. I am currently working on a doctorate in
education curriculum and instruction which I hope to
complete in 2007.
My
wife Melissa and I have a five year old son, Alex, who
keeps us very busy. As you can see, he is a cutie
patootie and the joy of our lives! When I am not
teaching, I enjoy reading, swimming, crossword puzzles,
playing poker with my buddies, cooking, relaxing and
spending lots of time with my family.
